Then you have the 11 individually designed Scandinavian-style suites, including the romantic Attic, the Loft, the Studio with its own collection of vinyl records and sound system, the Courtyard Suites with patio and outdoor seating, and the charming Farmyard Suites.
When it’s time to eat, the choice is just as diverse. The Back Garden, Dormy’s main dining area, offers slow food in tune with the rhythms of nature, showcasing the rich produce of the Cotswolds – including vegetables from its own garden. MO is a more intimate space where the kitchen team can let their creative imaginations rip through eight courses crafted with the latest cooking techniques and served with a flourish.
Guests can also retreat to the Shed, where you can kick back with a cocktail or relax with a pint while grazing a sophisticated bar menu available through the afternoon.
The House Spa, meanwhile, has its own suite of rooms where you can float away in the candlelit infinity pool, bask in the juniper-laced heat of the Finnish cabin, breathe in the mineral air of the salt room and then wake up with an ice experience – or just curl up with a book.
There’s also an outdoor Spa Terrace, home to the hydropathy hot-tub, the Dormy’s expert therapists and masseuses and other treatments - and a state-of-the-art gym. Then you can wind down in the spa’s own Greenhouse café.
